Paneer Payari / Paneer Red Curry


Paneer payari is a fun name given by me coz instead of regular paneer cubes, I use small heart shaped cookie cutter to make heart shaped pieces of paneer. Then made a delicious spicy red curry as it base and named it paneer payari. Present this to all your loved ones as a special treat. I am sure you will love this simple easy eye catching recipe paneer payari.
Preparation time :15 minutes
Cooking time : 15 minutes 
Serves : 2

Ingredients : 
1 cup  paneer cut in cubes or heart shaped 
1 cup tomato puree 
1 tbsp  kashmiri red chilly powder 
1 tsp / to taste red chilly powder 
1 onion paste 
1 tbsp  garlic paste 
½  tsp ginger  paste 
1 tsp garam masala powder 
4 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
salt to taste  

Methods of Cooking: 
Heat 1 tsp of ghee and slightly fry the paneer pieces.Keep aside.
Heat ghee in another pan. Add garam masala powder to it. Then add onion ginger garlic paste. Stir fry for a minute or two then add tomato paste. Mix and stir well till ghee separates from the masala. Now add ½ cup of water let it come to boil. Add the paneer pieces. When the gravy thickens put off the flame. Enjoy this yummy thick red curry paneer payari with your favorite flat bread , naan or paratha.
